Event Overview
This year’s theme, “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Innovation for Viksit Bharat,” focused on encouraging young people to lead in science and help India grow in science and technology. The event inspired students to take leadership in science and support a self-reliant India.
The Technology Enabling Centre (TEC) used this platform to inform students and teachers about various TEC activities, including support for patent filing, mentorship programs, industry expert connections, and technology commercialization.
During the event, the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Saket Kushwaha, visited the TEC stall and spoke with the team. He asked about ongoing projects, and the TEC team explained it’s support in two major projects: the Modern Root Cellar at Kargil Campus and the Anti-Freezing System at Leh Campus. The team also shared updates on technology transfers in progress, such as a Hybrid Solar Dryer for Apricots from GITAM TEC and Edible Food Coating for Apricots.
The Honorable Vice Chancellor praised the TEC team for their hard work and encouraged them to continue their good work. He also advised students and faculty to use TEC’s resources for research and innovation.
