Welcome to Mega Ladakh IDEATHON-2024, a flagship event organized by the Technology Enabling Center (TEC) at the University of Ladakh. This event provides a unique platform for participants to showcase their creativity, ingenuity, and entrepreneurial spirit by presenting innovative ideas, inventions, business concepts, processes, and product prototypes.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their projects in five categories:
Innovation: Present a plan for an improved product or service, an updated method for running operations, or a new business model that demonstrates innovation and creativity.- Invention: Showcase a unique or novel device, method, composition, idea, or process that represents a significant advancement or improvement in a particular field.
- Business Idea: Pitch a concept for financial gain centered around a product or service that addresses a specific market need or opportunity.
- Process: Introduce a series of steps or actions taken to achieve a particular result or goal, demonstrating an innovative approach to problem-solving or task execution.
- Product Prototype: Display an early sample, model, or release of a product created to test a concept or process, to improve design accuracy and user experience.
The event will culminate in the selection of winners in each category, who will receive prizes of up to 20,000 INR and potential funding opportunities if their projects are deemed export-worthy. Participants will also have the chance to network with industry experts, investors, and fellow innovators, fostering collaboration and future opportunities for growth and development.
